‘The other thing I wanted to tell you, neighbour,’ he said, ‘is that my John plays the triangle while teaching a dog to sit, blowing bubbles and juggling three apples!’
'Is that all?’ said Jet's mother. ‘My Jet plays two triangles and the trumpet while teaching a monkey to dance, blowing up balloons and juggling six bananas.’
Jet’s mother and John’s father are show offs. They each want their child to be able to do the most difficult tricks. Poor Jet and John! They have to spend the entire day practising, when all they want to do is play together.
